A Practice in Seeing, Over Time.
Hi, I'm David.
Photography has become more than a hobby for me, it’s how I pay attention. It’s what gets me to pause, look closer, and appreciate both the places I travel and the ones I see every day.
I don’t chase a single style or subject. I shoot what resonates in the moment... landscapes, street scenes, details, or anything that feels worth capturing.
I’m always learning, always experimenting, and this space is a reflection of that journey.
Writing
From the notes
In the Time Left Over
A work trip to Helsinki became a week of technical collaboration, jet lag, late walks, and photographing the city in the margins of the day... between meetings, meals, and the strange glow of a place that never quite seemed to stop moving.
A Practice in Seeing
A reflection on finishing my street photography class and learning to see more intentionally in real time.
A Practice in Motion
An exploration of motion in street photography... learning when to move with the moment, and when to let it pass.
